QBO Reconcile CSV Export
Effective date: July 8, 2026
QBO Reconcile CSV Export is a Chrome extension that adds an "Export CSV" button to the QuickBooks Online reconciliation screen. It exports the transaction table you are viewing to a CSV file saved on your own computer.
Data collection
The extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any user data. Ever.
- All processing happens locally in your browser. The CSV file is generated on your machine and saved directly to your Downloads folder.
- The only network requests the extension makes go to Intuit's own QuickBooks Online servers, on your behalf, to retrieve the reconciliation data you are already viewing — identical in kind to the requests the QuickBooks page itself makes. No request is ever sent to us or to any other third party.
- The extension has no analytics, no tracking, no remote code, and no backend of its own.
Data storage
To perform an export, the extension temporarily keeps a copy of the page's most recent reconciliation data request in Chrome's session storage on your device. This is cleared automatically when you close your browser and never leaves your machine.
Permissions
The extension requests access to Intuit (QuickBooks Online) sites only,
and uses Chrome's webRequest permission in read-only fashion
to observe how the QuickBooks page requested its reconciliation data, so
the export can retrieve the complete transaction list. It does not
block, modify, or redirect any traffic.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
